The Only|You™ Two-Step Verification Process 

The two-step verification process starts with the employee identifying themself at the time clock. They do this using the secondary reader option on the stride40. With the employee identification information, the Only|You™ software selects that employee’s template.  

During the second step, the Only|You™ software uses the stride40’s camera to scan the face of the person standing at the time clock. Its algorithm converts the employees’ face scan into a data string that it uses to verify the person present at the clock. 

If there’s a match, the person is verified as the employee and the punch is transmitted to your backend system. If it’s not a match, then the stride40 will prevent the user from entering a punch. 

The entire two-step verification process happens in seconds. The stride40 makes the small business time clock facial recognition process even faster with its IDassist module. IDassist guides the user to stand in the optimal spot for the camera scan.
